Mexico City, November 5 (However).- The Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC) stopped this Wednesday in Culiacan, Sinaloaa Daniel “N”, alias “The Damage“, a citizen United States which has a with red token issued by Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI, for its acronym in English) of the USA (EU) for his participation in conspiracy crimes to distribute fentanyl.
“In Culiacán, Sinaloa, SSPC personnel arrested Daniel ‘N’, alias ‘El Dany’, an American national, a target sought by United States authorities, for his participation in conspiracy crimes for the distribution of fentanyl. He had an arrest warrant and a red file from the FBI. The arrest is the result of the coordinated work of the Security Cabinet and international cooperation in the fight against drug trafficking,” Omar García Harfuch, head of the aforementioned Security Secretariat, indicated through his official X account.
The arrested subject is accused of his participation in the crime of conspiracy to distribute fentanyl to introduce it into the American Union.

“The operational action was carried out in a property located in the Infonavit Humaya neighborhood, in Culiacán, where security agents identified the property where one of the most sought-after targets by US authorities was being held and, when conducting reconnaissance tours, they detected the presence of the subject, whom they stopped, corroborated his identity and he was detained,” the SSPC said in a statement.
“El Dany” was placed at the disposal of the corresponding Public Ministry agent, who will define his legal situation and integrate the investigation folder of the case, to later be delivered to the authorities that require it.
The arrest of this subject was coordinated together with the Secretariat of National Defense (Defense), Secretariat of the Navy (Semar), Attorney General’s Office (FGR) and National Guard (GN).
