Fourteen residents of Good Shepherd Nursing Home, all of whom served in the United States Armed Forces, were honored with military banners. These banners will be hung throughout the city as part of the City of Wheeling’s Military Banner Program to honor the service and sacrifices of these veterans.
The event was led by Morgan Murphy, administrator of Good Shepherd Nursing Home. She emphasized the importance of giving veterans the respect and recognition they deserve.
