Despite a challenging start to the year with unfavorable wind conditions, the wind farm operator PNE is on track to achieve its annual targets for 2025. According to a statement from the company, PNE sees itself on the home stretch for a successful financial year. When presenting the quarterly report in Cuxhaven, CEO Heiko Wuttke emphasized that the annual forecast was confirmed.

Although 2025 has been considered a weak wind year so far and electricity production from PNE wind farms has been lower than expected, the company has made progress in project sales. Wuttke expects further sales in Germany, Poland and France in the fourth quarter, which could further strengthen the company’s financial stability.

PNE’s total output rose by a quarter to almost 264 million euros in the first nine months compared to the same period last year. Sales almost doubled to a good 142 million euros. Before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (Ebitda) remained at just under 27 million euros, more than four times as much as before. The bottom line is that the loss was reduced from a good 49 to a good 36 million euros.

This news was received positively on the stock market. As one of the best SDAX stocks, the PNE share gained six percent in the late afternoon. This shows investors’ confidence in the company’s ability to succeed and achieve its strategic goals despite adverse conditions.
