The Government of Mexico, through the National Housing Commission (CONAVI) and the Secretary of Welfarecontinue with the Housing for Wellbeing Program 2025a national strategy aimed at reducing the housing gap and guaranteeing access to decent housing for low-income families.
The initiative includes the construction of new homes, the improvement of existing homes and the provision of support for basic construction materials, with a priority focus on rural communities and special attention areas.
When does registration resume?
The program advances in staggered stages: the first was carried out in July and the second concluded in September. Advances in the Housing for Wellbeing Program
During October 2025, CONAVI announced the list of preselected people in the second stage of the programwho are currently in the home verification phase to continue validating their data and conditions.
Those applicants who meet all the established criteria may be considered to receive a Welfare home or apartment, as part of the Federal Government’s commitment to guarantee the right to a decent and safe home for Mexican families.
For its part, The participants in the first registration stage are already going through the final evaluation process, and it is expected that the official results will be published in the coming weeks with the names of the people who were approved to obtain the benefit.
