In this way, Sánchez Ortega will remain imprisoned in the maximum security prison of Altiplano, in the State of Mexico, where he was detained a week ago after being recaptured by FGR in the city of Tijuana, Baja California.
The former agent of the defunct National Investigation and Security Center (Cisen) appeared this Saturday before the Fourth District Judge in Criminal Matters in the State of Mexico, with residence in Almoloya de Juárez, Daniel Marcelino Niño Jiménez, who determined the allegations of the Public Ministry were sufficient to issue the order of formal imprisonment of Sánchez Ortega, in the practice grid, since the preliminary investigation SE/003-BIS/95, began in the inquisitorial criminal system.
The judge carried out the procedure this Saturday, after Jorge Antonio Sánchez Ortega availed himself of the duplicity of the constitutional deadline of 72 hours to resolve their legal situation, which expired on this day.
