Mexico City, November 16 (However).- The Conference of the Mexican Episcopate (CEM) took advantage of this Sunday message end of your Assembly Plenary to warn about the situation in the country and denounce the presence of “ideologies that confuse and divide” in the public life.

“We need to strengthen homes, accompany parents and care for our young people in the face of ideologies that confuse and divide. We invite you not to lose faith, to believe that Christ reigns even in the midst of suffering, that each home is a sanctuary where his love reigns. We want to walk with you as a prophetic church, witnesses of God’s love in the midst of our sorrows,” he said in a recorded message.

“They tell us that violence has decreased, but families that mourn their loved ones live another reality. They tell us that there is justice, but impunity continues to mark our daily lives. They tell us that the economy is doing well, but many families cannot fill their basic basket,” the bishops added in their pronouncement.
