After talking about geopolitics and Artificial Intelligence, the third panel of the Cascais Meetings dedicated itself to looking at another topic, equally essential for our present and future reality: education and connection or inadequacy to the job market.
The issues were always closely related to topics such as the suitability of universities for the job market, their preparation to compete in a global market, the ability to retain talent or call talent to Portugal, the inadequacy of the business fabric, low wages, little competitiveness. All very common and discussed topics, but no less relevant.
There were bold reports and proposals and even provocative ideas as examples of the imperative need to take risks and leave the comfort zone. Taking risks and leaving the comfort zone of people, universities, companies and institutions. We start from the example of the Universidade Nova campus in Carcavelos.
