The trial of José Sócrates continues, now without his defense lawyer, Pedro Delille. The Minister of Health, Ana Paula Martins, remains in office, but the cases continue. The threat of a strike by working doctors appears to be over for now. However, it is said that the minister asked Montenegro to leave, but the prime minister will not want a ministerial reshuffle just yet.
