Good afternoon,
It arrived weeks ago to Netflix, “The Agent”a Danish series that is a pleasure to watch because a) it has few episodes, b) few characters, c) an easy-to-follow plot and d) good actors in well-defined roles.
We follow an agent’s first mission when she is recruited by the Danish secret services to infiltrate a drug gang. As in current series, she herself has her demons, she will be fired in the first episode from a department, only to be recovered on another, even more secret, opportunity.
There is no special originality here, just the strangeness of seeing a scene copied from other series mentioned here (“The Agency” and “Le Bureau”), when the new and hypothetical boss asks the agent to get the direct contacts of two diners, but the main actress manages to enter well and quickly into that category that tells us that this one is not like the others.
