A Union Association of Police Professionals (ASPP/PSP) admitted this Monday to move forward with protests if Minister of Administration Intern does not present concrete proposals until November 28th on remuneration and supplements with effect from January 2026.
“The minister will be given one last chance”said the president of ASPP, Paulo Santos, adding that if Maria Lúcia Amaral does not present concrete proposals with effect in January 2026, the union “abandons negotiations”.
In a statement, released after the management meeting, ASPP recognizes the importance of 2024 agreement which allowed “an advance in the value of the supplement for service and risk” and “the projection of negotiation in remuneration tables and supplements”.
Nope, sorry “bad faith of the Ministry of Internal Affairsnot only in pushing the salary increase to 2027, but also in the fact that so far there is no concrete proposal from the Government’s side”, stressing that the State Budget for 2026 “is completely silent and closed with regard to the agreement”.
