It was precisely for this reason that the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was created. But who guarantees its application and how does it all work?

To better understand what humanitarian action means and how it works in practice, Margarida Santos talks to Ana Pinto de Oliveira, a public health specialist and coordinator of the postgraduate course in humanitarian action at the University of Algarve.
