A Limp Bizkit concert in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, was canceled after some reports came to light. pro-Russian comments made by the band’s lead singer, Fred Durst.
According to Baltic Live Agency, the promoter responsible for the concert, originally scheduled for May 31, 2026, the show was canceled due to “circumstances” beyond your control. The “NME”, however, highlights that the cancellation took place shortly after publications by Durst supporting Russia were found.
In 2015, after the Russian annexation of Crimea, the vocalist expressed his desire to obtain Russian nationalitydescribing President Vladimir Putin as “a good guy, with defined moral principles” and raising, on stage, a poster that said that Crimea belongs to Russia.
At the time, Durst was married to Russian artist Kseniya Beryazina, whom he divorced in 2018. His comments led to him being banned from entering Ukraine for five years.
Margus Tsahkna, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia, also commented on the case, saying that “Russia is the aggressor, and has occupied Crimea”. “Anyone who justifies Russian aggression and occupation of a neighboring country is not welcome in Estonia”continued.
