There are just nine themed rooms and suites (from €160) inspired by the history of Lusitânia and installed in the old 19th century manor house called Palacete do Guerreiro. Viriato, Tito Livio or Cipião give the accommodations their name and inspiration.
Located in the Aldeia de Montanha de São Gião, in the municipality of Oliveira do Hospital, the palace was completely restored to house the new five-star hotel that focuses on an intimate atmosphere, personalized hospitality as well as signature cuisine.

In the decoration, the intersection of current and old stands out, as well as details that offer comfort and personalization to the stay in furniture, objects and textile textures that adopt serene tones. The verdant landscape takes over the common and private spaces from the period windows.
Outside, the pool enjoys the same bucolic panorama that expands into the exclusive personalized nature experiences available to explore the surroundings from the accommodation.
After exploring the trails and landscapes of the Serra da Estrela Natural Park and GeoPark, the proposal is to relax at Viriatus SPA. Equipped with a jacuzzi and sauna, the space brings together a menu where Thai massages coexist with options dedicated to relaxation, beauty and well-being, designed to renew body and mind.

In addition to breakfast, the kitchen at Palacete do Guerreiro is led by the chef Spanish Mario Díaz who highlights signature stews. Among the suggestions, the turbot Zarzuela and the Ragout with black pork cheeks stand out, “dishes that celebrate the fusion of cultures and the passion for authenticity”, describes the note sent to the press about the project.
