O drone has been one of the gadgets most publicized and appreciated in recent years, whether by amateurs — from family games to spying on the neighbor next door — to professionals, such as photographers and filmmakers, who can no longer do without using drones as work aids. For many years, agriculture has been struggling with some problems that drones are now helping to solve. Let’s look at an example, simple and more frequent than one would like: a heavy rain, flooded vineyard, impossible to enter with the tractor. Do I need treatments? If the area is small, you can still consider doing the job with a sprayer on your back, the old-fashioned way, but if the area is very large, it becomes a huge problem, something that the drone will now help with. The same happens on plots located on very steep slopes (like the Moselle — Germany, for example) and not everyone has the resources to hire helicopters for this purpose; once again the drone appears as a solution.
