Between 00:00 and 07:00, firefighters recorded 26 occurrences in the capitalincluding 19 floods in public and private spaces, three tree falls — including the one on Rua Nova do Calhariz —, a structure collapse, a coating collapse and two situations related to sewage.
The heavy rain also led to temporary cut of the Second Circularnext to the airport, at around 6:00 am, due to flooding, however already resolved.
91 occurrences in one morning

Schools closed in Montijo

The district of Setúbal is this Thursday under red warning due to heavy rain, which is expected to continue until 10 am, according to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA).
