Mexico City, November 8 (However).- A year ago we saw Elphaba and Glinda become friends despite their differences and gave us iconic moments, but they left the story unfinished, now it is time to close it with Wicked: forever which will soon reach Mexican movie theaters.
Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo return in their roles as Elphaba and Glinda respectively to make this another global hit.
When is it released and what is it about?
In the second part we will see Elphaba, now as the Wicked Witch of the West who takes refuge in the forest of Oz, where she will seek to free the animals. On the other hand, Glinda is known as the good one and the defender, under the mentorship of Madame Morrible, maintains the idea that the situation is under control. The friendship of these witches will be put to the test, they will have to make decisions that will impact their destiny.
The film hits theaters on November 20.
A spectacular soundtrack
The songs performed by Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo are spectacular, and it is clear that music plays an essential role in this story. The good news is that Universal will release the official soundtrack under the name “Wicked: For Good – The Soundtrack”, to delight all fans with the great voices of the protagonists.
The soundtrack includes two new original songs featured in the film: “No Place Like Home” performed by Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, and “The Girl In The Bubble” performed by Ariana Grande. Additionally, “The Wicked Witch of the East” appears on the soundtrack, previously not included on Broadway Cast Recordings.
