Viewers check their own shoes
Hours after the video went viral, viewers claimed that they started checking their own purchases. Some of them reported that they immediately contacted the police after finding similar devices.
The blogger questioned why such trackers would be installed at the manufacturing stage and speculated that the devices might be used to monitor specific groups, particularly teenagers and young adults between the ages of 16 and 22. He also floated the possibility that someone could deliberately buy these shoes for a targeted individual.
