Un grupo de migrantes se manifiesta frente a la Comisión Mexicana de Ayuda a Refugiados (COMAR)

The US government reported that this measure applies to executives and senior officials of a transportation company based in Mexico that “provided travel services” for “foreigners who intended to immigrate illegally.”

Mexico City, December 4 (However).- The government of USA (EU) reported on Wednesday that revoked and imposed visa restrictions to identified persons in Mexico for facilitating the illegal immigration to the US, so the administration of the President Donald Trump announced measures to prevent these people from entering the United States.

Through a statement published on the official website of the United States government, the State Department of this country detailed that this measure applies to executives and senior officials of a transportation company based in Mexico that, knowing the above, “provided travel services designed primarily for foreigners who intended to illegally immigrate to the United States“.

In this sense, the authorities explained that the indicated persons organized the transportation of foreigners, including minors, who left from the Caribbean and other regions to transit points in Central America, where many were later found trying to enter the United States illegally.

“The United States will not tolerate any attempt to undermine our national security or our immigration laws. The Department will ensure that those who benefit from illegal immigration face consequences, and we will vigorously combat smuggling networks to protect our borders,” the State Department said.

The US government argued that the sanctions are based on Section 212(a)(3)(C) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA), which prohibits entry to those who, by entering or carrying out proposed activities, could have serious adverse consequences for US foreign policy.

Just Tuesday, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said that after a meeting with President Donald Trump, she recommended a complete travel ban on all countries she says send dangerous migrants to the United States.

“I just met with the President. I recommend a total travel ban on all countries that have been flooding our nation with murderers, leeches and entitlement junkies,” Noem said.

“Our ancestors built this nation with blood, sweat, and an unwavering love for freedom, not for foreign invaders to slaughter our heroes, drain our hard-earned taxes, or take away the benefits we owe Americans. We don’t want them. Not one of them,” the Secretary of Homeland Security’s message concludes.
