The United States Embassy in Mexico indicated that the so-called Generation Z march, “which turned violent” on November 15, will also mobilize today.
Mexico City, November 20 (However).- The United States Embassy (EU) in Mexico issued on Wednesday a alert addressed to its citizens by the call for the so-called march of the Generation Z which is expected today in Mexico City (CdMx), which will be tied with the Military Parade for the 115th anniversary of the Mexican Revolution.
According to the diplomatic mission, the mobilization will start from Angel of Independence towards him Plinth starting at 11:00 a.m., while the call was made by the groups that participated in the demonstration on November 15 that led to acts of violence.
“The groups that are expected to participate in this protest also participated in the demonstration on November 15, which turned violent,” the authorities pointed out, in addition to recommending that their citizens stay informed through local media and strictly follow the instructions of the Mexican authorities.

Through social networks, the so-called Generation Z confirmed the aforementioned route, in addition to noting that their movement will continue along a section of the Lázaro Cárdenas Central Axis and then continue along 5 de Mayo Street until reaching the Plaza de la Constitución, where the activities scheduled for the day will conclude.
Along with this mobilization, another rally was called at 9:00 a.m. on the same day at the facilities of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), but the exact location was not specified in the invitation published on social networks.
For its part, the federal government will hold the civic-military parade for the 115th anniversary of the beginning of the Mexican Revolution, which will begin at 10:00 a.m. in the capital’s Zócalo.
The parade route was modified for this year, as it will start from the Zócalo Circuit and continue along 5 de Mayo, Eje Central Lázaro Cárdenas, Avenida Juárez and Avenida de la República, until concluding at the Monument of the Revolution, in the Tabacalera neighborhood of the Cuauhtémoc Mayor’s Office, that is, less than three kilometers long.
The traditional route of the parade includes a route through the streets and avenues of 5 de Mayo, Juárez and Paseo de la Reforma, to culminate in Chapultepec. However, the route agreed for Thursday will allow establishing a more controlled perimeter and facilitating tactical responses in case of disturbances, as well as reducing confrontations with Generation Z protesters.
