Trump’s “gold card” facilitates entry procedures into the United States for those people who are willing to pay a million dollars for residency.
Mexico City, December 12 (However).- The President of the United States (EU), Donald Trumplaunched on December 10 a “gold card“, a permit purchase program residence in the North American country in exchange for a contribution of a million dollars.
“The Trump gold card from the United States Government is here! A direct path to citizenship for all qualified and verified people,” the Republican announced on his Truth Social platform.
The so-called “Trump Gold Card” will allow applicants to accelerate their processing process and receive residency in shorter times and with bureaucratic facilities from the immigration authorities. In addition, this mechanism will authorize foreign companies to pay two million dollars to sponsor a worker who wishes to enter the United States.

In an interview with the media, Howard Lutnick, Secretary of Commerce, stated that the program will guarantee that “the people who enter are the best; that they have the economic capacity to boost our economy.”
The Trump Government set up a website so that interested parties can begin processing this special permit and in which they also request an extra contribution of $15,000 in processing costs for the Department of Homeland Security.
“For a $15,000 Department of Homeland Security processing fee and, upon background clearance, a $1 million contribution, obtain U.S. residency in record time with the ‘Trump Gold Card,’” the website states.

For her part, the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, indicated that the institution she directs coordinates work with the Department of Commerce to facilitate the implementation of President Trump’s Gold Card program.
“Within the framework of this historic initiative, qualified individuals and corporations that contribute one million and two million respectively, will receive accelerated EB-1 or EB-2 green cards after a rigorous evaluation,” the official published on her official X account.
According to Noem, this program is “historic” and fulfills Trump’s promise to attract the world’s most successful entrepreneurs and investors to the United States “while ensuring that they actively participate in the project.”
