Mexico City, November 23 (However).- Associations of carriers of the entire Republic announced that this Monday, November 24 will carry out a megalock of the main roads in at least 20 statesso here we tell you what the roads and avenues affected, as well as what time the protest begins.

This mobilization was called by operators of transport of cargo with the purpose of requiring the authorities to reinforce their actions to combat insecurity on highways throughout the country, as well as to stop the extortions by organized crime groups.

Prior to the protests announced for this Monday, transporters called on citizens to avoid leaving their homes “because there will be no passage.”

Transporters announced that as part of the megablockade that they will carry out this Monday, November 24, they plan to close circulation on the main highways that connect Mexico City (CdMx) with other states, including:

What time does the megablock start?

Transporters did not announce a specific time at which the megablockade will begin this November 24 in different states of the country; However, the mobilizations are expected to begin in the early hours of the day, between 7:00 and 8:00.

It is likely that the blockades on highways and roads throughout the Republic will extend until Monday evening, but there is no defined time, since the majority of these mobilizations conclude once the dissatisfied people manage to reach an agreement with the authorities to resolve their demands.

Organizations of transporters and farmers are expected to participate in the megablockade, including: the National Association of Transporters (ANTAC), the National Front for the Rescue of the Mexican Countryside (FNRCM) and the Peasant Agricultural Movement (MAC).
