MEXICO CITY.- Three police officers from the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) They were arrested for allegedly being involved in the death of a 21-year-old young man who would have been detained by the uniformed officers and later died, in the streets of the mayor’s office Venustiano Carranza.
The elements detained Erick on the night of November 4, on Soledad Street, in the Zona Centro neighborhood. The victim’s family assured that learned of his death two days lateron Thursday, November 6.
Following the above, family members demonstrated outside the facilities of the capital’s Attorney General’s Office on Jardín Avenue, in the Azcapotzalco mayor’s office, to demand justice and the arrest of those responsible for Erick’s death.

On Friday, the SSC reported that the General Directorate of Internal Affairs became aware of the arrest of the young manand that through the monitoring of video surveillance cameras, the officers who participated in the events were identified, who have already been arrested and admitted to a prison, while the investigations are carried out.
In addition, the director of the sector in charge of supervising the detained elements will be dismissed, the secretariat confirmed.
