When will the El Buen Fin draw be and what prizes will there be?
The SAT indicated that the El Buen Fin Draw will take place on December 5 at 12:00 p.m. at the SAT facilities in Mexico City and will be broadcast live through the institution’s official channel: @satmx on YouTube.
“400 million pesos will be distributed to the cardholders who win,” the Service indicated.
There will be a grand prize of 250 thousand pesos and 321 thousand 260 prizes ranging from 500 to 20 thousand pesos. The winners will receive a direct deposit to the card with which they made the purchase.
For the businesses that participate in the draw, 100 million pesos will be distributed, with a grand prize of 260 thousand pesos, as well as four thousand 987 prizes of 20 thousand pesos. Deposits will be made directly into the winning merchant’s account.
What requirements must be met to participate?
Establishments interested in participating in the El Buen Fin 2025 Sweepstakes must meet the following requirements:
- Register on the page the deadline is November 12.
- Have an active and valid RFC.
- Have an active Tax Mailbox and means of contact.
- Have the Opinion of positive compliance with tax obligations.
- Have at least one active point-of-sale terminal to make sales through electronic payment methods.
- Comply with the bases, terms and conditions that the SAT publishes on its official portal.
The list of winners can be consulted on the draw mini-site, available at and prizes will be deposited before January 6, 2026.
“The El Buen Fin Sweepstakes, organized by the SAT, aims to promote formality, encourage the use of electronic payment methods and boost internal consumption, for the benefit of the national economy and Mexican families,” concluded the tax institution.
