VALLADOLID.— The University of Valladolid Yucatan (UVY) began its 35th anniversary celebrations with its now traditional “Marcelino Aguilar Aguilar” Athletic Race, activity in which more than 200 local athletes and neighboring municipalities participated.
The rector of the university, teacher Carlos Caamal Xulucled the event and highlighted the importance of the university community and the athletes who participated in the race that bears the name of the founder of the university.

In his message, the rector Caamal Xuluc He thanked the directors, managers, members of the university community and, above all, the runners who participated in the test.
He added that the race is a recognition of the effort and sacrifice of the athletes and highlighted that the University of Valladolid Yucatan has several activities planned to celebrate its anniversary, including a Halloween pageant and the Miss UVY and Mr. UVY pageant in the near future.
Festive atmosphere
