Mérida, Yucatán.- The paramunicipal Servilimpia presented today before the Prosecutor’s Office Specialized in Combating Corruption of the State of Yucatan a complaint for alleged unproven expenses by 5.7 million pesos.

According to a statement from the company, the complaint was filed against whoever is responsible, presumably administrative staff of the paramunicipal itself.

Gerardo Bolio de Ocampo, director of Servilimpiareported that the reported events consist of a series of unverified payments duly, which were carried out during fiscal year 2024 for an approximate amount of 5.7 million pesos.

The official indicated that when carrying out internal control reviews and periodic audits, alleged irregularities what were investigated by the internal control body —Municipal Comptroller’s Office— and the findings led to the integration of the file presented to the aforementioned authority.

The director of the paramunicipal, adds the Servilimpia bulletin, emphasized that on instructions from the mayor Cecilia Patron Laviada Transparency and law enforcement are guiding principles of this administration, committed to the efficient, responsible and honest use of public resources.
