What better “swim”
Cerro de la Silla to wait for big teams.- Samuel García, governor of Nuevo León and official head of predictions for the state, complained to FIFA about the World Cup matches that Monterrey played, describing them as simple “crumbs.”
After the FIFA draw, in which the matches that each venue will host were determined, the games that the Sultana del Norte will host were announced: Tunisia vs. Japan or South Korea vs. South Africa, as well as another Tunisian duel against some European rival (which won’t be Holland, juar, juar).
These matches did not leave the state president at all happy, who accused FIFA of giving “unfair treatment” to Monterrey, while ensuring that “the assigned matches were not favorable.”
In Monterrey they already saw themselves receiving Holland
It was thus that Samuelito regretted that the northern city would not have a game of the Mexican National Team or a match of a “big” team.
What better nothing!🗣️
They sent Monterrey the “crumbs” of the 2026 World Cup, neither the Mexican team nor top teams; Now, Samuel García is asking for compensation from the Mexican Soccer Federation. 😡

“Give something different to Monterrey, because you gave Guadalajara to Spain against Uruguay… you didn’t give Monterrey a single team from pot A: neither the Netherlands, nor another, nor Mexico either,” said the governor in an interview conducted by David Faitelson.
During the talk, Samuel assured that Monterrey was given “crumbs”, after expressing his discomfort at the explanation that FIFA gave him for taking away a game that the Netherlands was supposedly going to play in the Sultana del Norte.
Finally, he assured that he has already sought out FIFA to “see how they compensate him”… and to see if they don’t end up taking away his games for being a complainer.
