MOTUL.– Neighbors of Motul They foiled a new robbery of a subject nicknamed “El Goku”, which occurred on 22nd Street between 35, upon finding him trying to open cars.
This Sunday night, around 9:00 p.m., residents of 22nd Street between 35th Street in Motul surprised a subject known in the area with the nickname “Gokú”, when he was allegedly stealing belongings from inside a parked vehicle.
According to the testimony of a neighbor (a victim of robbery on previous occasions), they surprised the individual in the act, so several neighbors tried to prevent him from taking the objects. However, the alleged thief he would have pulled out a sharp weapon to avoid being detained, managing to flee heading south on 22nd Street itself.
Minutes later, agents from the Motul Municipal Police arrived at the site to collect data and begin a search operation.
Neighbors indicated that they already know the subject in the area. A few weeks ago a publication circulated on social networks in which he had been arrested for the theft of a bicycle.
The authorities continue with the efforts to locate the alleged perpetrator, while residents of the sector ask residents to remain alert to the presence of said subject and organize themselves in case they find him again.
