Three subjects were arrested after the transporter Fernando Galindo Salvador was found alive, whose disappearance caused blockages on the Mexico-Querétaro highway.

Mexico City, November 5 (However).- The Prosecutor’s Office of the State of Mexico reported on Tuesday that Fernando Galindo Salvadorwhose disappearance generated locks in the Mexico-Querétaro highwaywas found alive and in apparent good health, after being deprived of liberty on October 30 in the municipality of Jilotepec.

Through a publication in X, the Mexican Prosecutor’s Office explained that as a result of investigative acts, the 69-year-old man was located, while three subjects were arrestedamong them, a man identified as Nery “N” alias “The Motorcycle“, who was identified as a member of a criminal group with origins in Michoacán.

“He is in charge of this group of ‘lining up’ taxi drivers in the municipalities of Jilotepec, Soyaniquilpan and Acambay, for which he deprived their leaders of their freedom,” said the Prosecutor’s Office of the State of Mexico, in addition to specifying that these actions took place in coordination with the Secretariat of Security of the State of Mexico.

On November 3, a group of protesters from the Alliance of Autonomous Motor Carriers of the Mexican Republic blocked the Mexico-Querétaro highway, near Jilotepec, heading to Mexico City (CdMx), to demand the location of Fernando Galindo Salvador.

The transporters not only demanded the reappearance of their colleague, but also demanded that the Government of the State of Mexico, headed by Governor Delfina Gómez, put a stop to the acts of extortion, robberies and disappearances of said union, so they established themselves in the Tepotzotlán toll booth.

The call reached groups of transporters from the municipalities of Jilotepec, Atlacomulco, Lerma, Santiago Tianguistenco, Lerma, Valle de Bravo, Toluca, Naucalpan, Cuautitlán Izcalli, Coyotepec, among others, who expressed solidarity with the family, friends and colleagues of the 69-year-old man.

In this sense, the Prosecutor’s Office of the State of Mexico issued a search file for the case of Fernando Galindo Salvador, since three disappearances of transport drivers have recently been reported in the Jilotepec region. However, two of them were rescued alive.

Bernardo Aldana Becerril, 38, coordinator of the Alliance of Motor Carriers and Merchants of Mexico (ACME) in Jilotepec, was found alive after a group of protesters demanded his location on July 22, for more than seven hours, on the Mexico-Querétaro, Mexico-Pachuca and Arco Norte highways.

Likewise, on August 25, transporters, relatives and neighbors carried out blockades on the Mexico-Querétaro highway towards Mexico City (CdMx), near the municipality of Soyaniquilpan, to demand that the Prosecutor’s Office of the State of Mexico locate 25-year-old Carlos Cornelio Ortega, who disappeared on August 22 for refusing to pay extortion.
