Yucatan will enter the history of winter sports in Mexico: the ice rink of Ice Galleries will dress up next weekend with the realization of the Third Regional Latin American Interclub Figure Skating on Ice.
This is the first time that Mexico will host of this event (previously it was in Peru and El Salvador) and the Mexican Federation of Ice Skating and Winter Sports selected Mérida to accommodate 250 skaters from eight countriesin addition to the hosts.
The competition will take place from Thursday, October 30 to Sunday, November 2 and skaters will come from Peru, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Brazil, Dominican Republic, El Salvador and Mexico.
