La SSC-CdMx logró la detención de cinco sujetos señalados como presuntos responsables de secuestrar y asaltar a una banda de Mariachis.

According to him official reportSSC-CdMx police responded to a report about the presence of a group of injured people who were on Silos Street on the corner of Andador Caporal 2, in the Narciso Mendoza neighborhood, in the Tlalpan mayor’s office.

Upon arriving at the scene, uniformed officers confirmed the presence of six injured subjects, for which they requested support from medical services; The paramedics confirmed that two of the people had severe burns, a 35-year-old man with burns on 80 percent of his body and another 31-year-old man with burns on 25 percent of his body, so they were immediately taken to a hospital.

On the other hand, the rest of the injured, aged 31 years, 27 years, 22 years and one who did not provide his information, were diagnosed with blows to different parts of the body, without requiring hospital transfer.

The injured people told the officers that they were members of a mariachi group and that they were hired to play on Saturday afternoon at a family party at the Iztapalapa Mayor’s Office. At the end of their presentation they were detained in the home, physically attacked and burned by the people present.

The next day, during the night of Sunday, the victims were loaded into a black van and later abandoned in the streets of the Tlalpan Mayor’s Office, where they asked for support through the emergency number 911.

As a result of this complaint, SSC-CdMx agents located the vehicle when it was traveling on Canal de Tezontle Avenue, so police intercepted the unit near the Interior Circuit, in the Infonavit Iztacalco neighborhood, of the Iztacalco Mayor’s Office.

As a result of this action, the officers seized a short firearm, two useful cartridges, 100 purple plastic bags with a white powder similar to cocaine, and 11 personal identifications, including one from a law enforcement institution, and four bank cards.

The crew members of the van, five men aged 43 years and 35 years, as well as three minors aged 17, 16 and 14, were detained and placed at the disposal of the corresponding Public Ministry agent, who will define their legal situation and continue with the investigations of the case.
