This day, PAN legislators shared on social networks photographs of their trip to Washington to present a complaint to the IACHR for alleged repression, police brutality and human rights violations during the November 15 march.
Mexico City, November 26 (However).- The national leader of Morena, Luisa María Alcalde Lujanaccused legislators of the National Action Party (PAN) of “kneeling before the foreigner” after they went to the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) in Washington to denounce alleged acts of “police brutality” during the Generation Z march on November 15.
Through social networks, the Mayor assured that the PAN members “denounced something that they themselves invented” and that his visit only evidenced “their usual devotion.”
“They did not bring evidence or arguments, only their desire to kneel before the foreigner,” wrote the leader, who also pointed out that the conservatives “do not understand that they do not understand and repeat their history once again.”

Meanwhile, through a statement, Morena supported Luisa Alcalde’s position and accused the PAN of trying to obtain outside the country what “they no longer get from Mexican men and women.”
The party recalled that, historically, conservatives have sought support abroad: “In the 19th century they asked for a European emperor; in the 20th century they asked for ‘order’ from outside; and in the 21st century they buy tickets to Washington to insist on the same script.”
Morena also expressed his absolute support for President Claudia Sheinbaum, considering that the PAN action is an attempt at “intervention” disguised as democratic concern. “The PAN’s decision to go abroad is not an act of democratic defense, but rather an obvious attempt to bypass the Mexican people to seek validation elsewhere,” he added.

PAN files complaint before the IACHR
This day, PAN legislators traveled to Washington to present a complaint to the IACHR for alleged repression, police brutality and human rights violations during the November 15 march. They further stated that there are alleged links between the Black Bloc and the federal government.
The PAN members indicated that they turned to the IACHR because, as they said, the CNDH “does not exist” and has not responded to their complaints in Mexico.
“We have already denounced it in Mexico and we are waiting for responses. We are also clear that the CNDH does not exist. That is why we turned to this body, which is part of our constitutional system. It is not a foreign government; it is an international organization,” they argued.
