Ramiro “N” was one of the two people who were found dead on November 10 on the Uruapan-Paracho highway. The telephone equipment of both were located a day later and, upon analysis, it was discovered that Ramiro “N” was part of a chat in which the attack against Manzo was coordinated, as revealed by Omar García Harfuch, head of the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC) in a press conference.
Investigations into the murder of the former mayor of Uruapan have revealed that Ramiro “N” served as a recruiter for Josué “N” and Víctor Manuel “N.”
“The man was also part of a group in the messaging application, in which the attack against the municipal president was planned and coordinated,” said Harfuch during the conference in which the progress that has been made in the case was reported.
“Likewise, it was identified that a subject nicknamed “The Graduate” occupied the command role as he was the one who issued the instructions to carry out the execution,” explained the Secretary of Security, adding that “derived from the analysis of the conversations and the intelligence work, they allowed the trail of the person involved to be followed,” which led to his subsequent capture.
