He Rock & Roll Hall of Fame paid a tribute worthy of all its inductees in its 40th edition.

The annual ceremony of the institution, based in Clevelandmoved its celebration last night to the Peacock Theater, at Live LA in downtown Los Angeles, to welcome Cyndi Lauper, The White Stripes, Soundgarden, Outkast, Joe Cocker, Bad Company y Chubby Checkerin addition to Salt-N-Pepa and Warren Zevon, both honored with the Musical Influence Award; Carol Kaye, Thom Bell and Nicky Hopkins, with respective Musical Excellence Awards, and Lenny Waronker, former president of Warner Bros. Recordswith the Ahmet Ertegun Prize.

To honor their colleagues, other great celebrities supported them on stage and also in the induction speeches, extolling their artistic merits and anecdotes lived by their side, moments by Elton John, Iggy Pop, Jim Carrey, Missy Elliott, David Letterman, Mick Fleetwood, Donald Glover y Chris Robinsonamong many others.
