Mexico City, October 28 (However).- The Dr. Ana Laura Gutiérrez Aguayoof the Hospital Regional (HR) “October 1st” of the Institute of Security and Social Services of State Workers (ISSSTE), today made its first surgery with the Da Vinci X robotfor the benefit of a rightful 37 years old with benign tumors in it uterus.

“An open intervention offers them a pain of eight to 10 or a nine out of 10, when in a robotic surgery the patients report approximately two or three out of 10 (…) This type of surgery performed, here, in the hospital, with the technology we have and the availability of operating rooms, around 20 to 30 patients per month would benefit,” he explained.
The specialist indicated that the incorporation of the HR “October 1” in the ISSSTE Robotic Surgery Plan reflects the commitment to public health on the part of President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, as well as the authorities of the Institute, since two million 300 thousand beneficiaries from the northern and eastern areas of the country’s capital, as well as Hidalgo, Michoacán, Querétaro and the State of Mexico will benefit.
