MEXICO CITY.- Within the framework of the Day of the Virgin of Guadalupethis December 12, the president Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo spoke with Pope Leo XIVwhom he invited to visit Mexico.
On her social networks, the president of Mexico commented that Leo XIV sent greetings and blessings to the Mexican people on this Guadalupana day.

“Send blessings and greetings to everyone on this day of the Virgin of Guadalupe. We agree that, beyond the religion that each person professes and the secularism of the State, the Virgin of Guadalupe is a symbol of identity and peace for Mexicans,” said the president.
On the call, the federal president was accompanied by the Secretary of the Interior, Rose ice Rodríguezand the person in charge of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Roberto Velasco.
The head of Segob said for her part that, “this call comes as a profound reminder of faith, joy and hope. The people of Mexico would be very happy with the Pope’s visit.”
