MEXICO.- The federal government will provide financial benefits for the purpose of encourage electronic payments during “The Good End 2025”of the November 13th to 17th.

The fiscal stimulus consists of banks or financial entities who deliver these prizes will be able deduct that amount from income tax (ISR) that they are responsible for paying. That is, the government returns that money to them via taxes.
Businesses may also be winners, as long as they are micro or small companies with annual income less than five million pesoswho have accepted credit card payments or debit during the days of the program.

The total amount allocated for the raffle prizes may not exceed 500 million pesos. The federal government will assume the payment of the local or municipal taxes that are generated by the delivery of these prizes, so that the winners receive the full amount, without withholdings.

The government argues that this measure is part of the economic policy included in the National Development Plan 2025-2030inside the axis “Moral economy and work”, which proposes strengthening the national economy, promoting investment and reducing inequality.
The decree takes effect immediately and will be valid until December 31, 2026.
