“Behind every joke there was a tireless worker, behind every applause there was a human being who deeply loved what he did, and behind every smile there was always a father who taught us to laugh even in the most difficult moments,” he added.

His legacy, said Lalo Manzano, also a comedian, “not only lives in the stages he illuminated, but in the people he transformed with a smile.” “Thank you, beautiful daddy, for every teaching and for having made our lives your masterpiece. One of the most famous characters created by “Los Polvoces”, the duo that Eduardo Manzano formed with Enrique Cuenca – who died in 2000 – was Gordolfo Gelatino, among others, such as the Hermanos Lelos, Andobas and Don Teofilito, Agallón Mafafas and Juan Garrison, Maistro and the Grasshopper, Púas and Molacho, Mary Pompis, among others.

Currently, Manzano was acting as Don Arnoldo López Conejo, in the comedy novel “Una familia de 10”, created by Jorge Ortiz de Pinedo, and broadcast on the Televisa network.

However, in recent months Eduardo Manzano had been in poor health. Lalo Manzano, his son, did not disclose the causes of death.

According to media specialized in the world of entertainment, Eduardo Manzano was facing a period of fragile health that had deteriorated since his hospitalization in 2021.
