Between verses, skulls and fiscal traumas, the first “Spooky Escritorito” was held.
Musical afterlife.- The group Death/Sht was in The Deforms to throw out some verses very consistent with the Halloween/Day of the Dead season, because nothing says “terror” like remembering that it’s almost time to file taxes.
With several guests, Gastón Espinoza arrived at the studios of The Deforms with his new project to celebrate the first “Spooky Escritorito”, an event full of terrifying references to horror movies, the SAT and your ex’s promises (all equally chilling).
The Deforma Desk got “Spooky”
In Death/Sht, Espinoza explores dark themes and pays tribute to the golden age of horror cinema, with a touch of dark humor and riffs on the afterlife. The project mixes legends, scary stories and punk energy, creating an experience that moves between cursed poetry and karaoke from beyond the grave.
The group released their first LP during the spookiest season of the year – the one in which Halloween merges with the Day of the Dead – and includes elements of horror punk, rap and a tribute to the Misfits, ideal for scaring neighbors or invoking artistic inspiration at midnight.
The session was full of underworld songs, satanic verses and choruses that Edgar Allan Poe could have written after three coffees and a failed spell. The result: a concert from beyond the grave with rhythm.
