The site of the deadly collapse is located on the side of the road Merida-Chetumal, at the height of the junction of the town of Xaya, in Tekax.
The subject was operating a backhoe when there was a collapse of a stone wall which buried the machinery that operated causing death. lThe victim was identified as Carlos S.
Emergency personnel came to the scene and unfortunately only confirmed his death. The place was secured by the authorities for the corresponding procedures.
