MÉRIDA.- The National Executive Committee of the Green Ecologist Party of Mexico (PVEM) appointed Daniela Pompeyo Santiago as new state leader in Yucatán.
The decision is part of the internal renewal process promoted by the national leadership with a gender perspective. The national president of the PVEM, senator Karen Castrejón Trujillo, and the national secretary of womendeputy Nayeli Fernández Cruz, They presented the change during a meeting with activists and members of the state committee.
As explained at the meeting, the relay seeks to strengthen the political structure of the party in Yucatán and consolidate its presence towards the next electoral processes.
The national leadership recognized the work of the grassroots in the state and called for maintaining unity around young leadership with a vision of political growth.
Daniela Pompeyo Santiago will head the state organization after the management of the local deputy Harry Gerardo Rodríguez Botello Fierro.
Castrejón Trujillo said that the new stage of PVEM in Yucatan It seeks to expand coordination with municipalities, strengthen territorial work and promote the participation of women and young people in decision-making spaces.

“With this appointment, the Green Party reaffirms its renewal strategy in the 32 entities of the country. The national leadership promotes an agenda focused on strengthening political representation and collaboration with other forces on environmental, social and sustainable development issues,” he expressed.
For its part, Daniela Pompeyo represents future responsibility in order to grow the presence of the Toucan party in the Yucatecan entity.
