In front of the business elite, the opposition leader recently awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, which earned her endless criticism, explained that her program for Venezuela includes “security” guarantees for investors. “This is going to be huge because we will promote the rule of law, we will open the markets, we will have security for foreign investment, and a massive and transparent privatization program that is waiting for you,” he explained.
María Corina recalled that Chavismo rejected agreeing on an orderly transition and said that the President of the United States, Donald Trump, is doing the right thing to lead Venezuela to a democratic transition.
“President Trump’s strategy [para combatir] This narcoterrorist criminal structure is absolutely correct because Nicolás Maduro is not a legitimate Head of State. He is a head of a narcoterrorist structure that has declared war on the Venezuelan people and the democratic nations of the entire region,” he stressed.
In turn, he reiterated that after his eventual arrival in power, during the first 100 days, he would focus on freeing political prisoners, as well as restoring economic order and guaranteeing security for opponents.

“In the first 100 days we have to take control, ensure our own protection, protect the borders and release all political prisoners. The first 100 days will focus on providing fuel, security, medicine and restoring economic order,” he promised.
