BANGKOK, Thailand.— This Sunday, through a statement, the police authorities reported that a pilot crashed into a fence in New South Wales (NGS), Australiaand some 13 people were injured in the accident, during a car race.
The authorities indicated that they are investigating the event, which occurred on Saturday in the town of Walcha – about 400 kilometers north of Sydney – and that two of the injured have serious injuries.
Images circulating on social networks show that the vehicle left the track and crashed into a fence, behind which were several people who came to the place to watch the race.
Regarding the injured, the Police explained that they are eight men and five women between the ages of 20 and 75, almost all of them discharged after being treated at nearby health centers.

However, “a 54-year-old man suffered serious injuries and another 34-year-old man suffered serious head trauma.” Both were treated at the scene of the accident and later transferred by helicopter to a hospital “where they remain stable,” the letter continues.
Regarding the pilot, the Police indicated that he is 27 years old and suffered minor injuries, for which he was treated by paramedics at the scene of the accident. The young man was then transferred to an NGS hospital where “mandatory tests” were performed in this type of case, although the report does not give details in this regard.

“Agents (of the regional police) were informed that the driver was involved in a collision on the track just before his vehicle crashed into the fence,” the letter adds.
Members of the Accident Investigation Unit attended the scene and examined the scene, while the investigation continues.
