TICUL.— Three injuries, including a five-year-old child, and extensive damage were the result of an accident that occurred today, Thursday, December 11, in the San Enrique neighborhood.
The driver of the truck with license plates YP-2757-F did not respect the stop at the intersection of 25th and 42nd streets.
The occupants of the motorcycle, two women and the minor, were hit by the truck.
As a result of the collision, both women were left lying on the asphalt with multiple bumps and abrasions, in addition to possible fractures. However, the driver of the truck continued his journey and dragged the motorcycle with the little boy on it.
The unit transporting vegetables dragged the child with the light vehicle between 20 and 30 meters.
After the collision, the driver of the truck tried to flee, but neighbors mobilized and prevented him.
Red Cross paramedics arrived at the scene of the accident and treated the women and the minor. The latter suffered some scratches and bruises that were not considered serious, despite the dramatic nature of the incident.— MEGAMEDIA
Medical aid
Three injured people in Ticul were taken to the Health Center, while elements of the Municipal Police who arrived at the scene detained the driver and took him to the headquarters.
Awaiting fix
The vehicles involved in the accident were taken to the corralón in which responsibilities are defined and the parties reach an agreement.
