Donald Trump and Claudia Sheinbaum met briefly this Friday during the 2026 World Cup draw ceremony in Washington, marking the first time that both leaders met in person.

After the draw is concluded, Sheinbaum is scheduled to meet with the Prime Minister of Canada, Mark Carney, to review the common agenda between both countries.

At 1:35 p.m., Sheinbaum will arrive at the Mexican Cultural Institute, where he will continue with his agenda.

Five minutes later, at 1:40 p.m., he will have a private lunch with members of his team and Mexican representatives in Washington.

At 2:45 p.m., the President will lead a private meeting with leaders of the Mexican community residing in Washington, Virginia and Maryland.

During this meeting, he will offer a message and participate in an open dialogue moderated by the Mexican ambassador to the United States, Esteban Moctezuma Barragán.
