The Haven Demo mission, launched from Cape Canaveral, is part of Vast’s strategy to prove the viability of its space station technology through a series of demonstrations. After reaching orbit, the spacecraft successfully deployed its solar panels, an important test for future stations’ power systems. This mission is a major milestone for Vast, which is backed by crypto billionaire Jed McCaleb and is bidding for a NASA contract to establish a commercial outstation in low Earth orbit.
