CDMX. This Thursday afternoon Luis Ángel “El Flaco” I call on the media to announce their next date in CDMX.
From the beginning of the conversation, the singer seemed close, relaxed and deeply grateful to the public that has accompanied him in this new stage as a soloist. He recalled with emotion the feeling of fulfillment that he experienced in the National Auditorium during his last concert, a night that he described as a turning point in his career. “That day I realized that I was not alone,” he said while smiling. “I felt that people carried me, that they supported me. That’s why what comes in the Arena CDMX It is my way of returning that hug.”
One of the most anticipated moments of the press conference was when he talked about the special guests who will accompany him at this concert. Although he avoided giving names, he hinted at the caliber of the artists who will take the stage. “I don’t want to ruin the surprise, but I’ll tell you something: you are going to see several brothers in music, people with whom I have laughed, cried and learned. This concert is not just mine, it belongs to all those who have been part of my history,” he said. Immediately afterwards, he added with a laugh: “Just get ready, because you are going to have a lot of joy.”
At different times, the performer was especially reflective when talking about his artistic evolution. He recognized that taking the step as a soloist, after so many years of success with Band Los Recoditos, It was a complex emotional and professional process. “When you leave such a big family, you wonder if people are going to continue loving you. And the surprise was that they not only followed me: they hugged me even tighter,” he commented. He also highlighted that this stage has led him to rediscover himself. “I have learned to sing from another place. Not only from the technique, but from what I experienced, from my wounds, from my joys. That changes everything”
When talking about the bond with your audience, “The Skinny” He did not hide his emotion. He said that each concert is for him an opportunity to give thanks, to open his heart without reservation. “People think that you sing to be applauded, but no. I sing so that music can be of some use to you. So that you heal, so that you remember, so that you find strength. If a song of mine has served you even once, I have already done my job,” he declared with a firm voice.
The night of January 17, he explained, will not be just another concert, but rather a meeting built with love, memory and complicity. “I’m going to sing what people want, what they always ask me for, but I’m also going to show new things, different arrangements, stories that I haven’t told yet. I want the Arena CDMX “Be a place where we all feel part of something big,” he revealed.

He even announced that part of the show will be dedicated to honoring his musical roots. “I never forget where I come from. The band gave me everything, and this concert is also a tribute to that path. The old, the new, what’s next… everything goes together,” he shared.
The singer also took the time to thank Music Live, the promoter responsible for the show, for trusting his proposal and betting on a show of this magnitude. “They believe in music, they believe in emotion. And that is worth a lot today. This concert would not exist without that support,” he said.
Towards the end of the conference, “The Skinny” He stopped for a few seconds before saying a phrase that made it clear what this presentation means to him: “Look, if I have learned anything, it is that one does not sing to become a monument; one sings to stay in people’s hearts. And I would like to stay there a little longer,” he concluded.
