MEXICO CITY. – In a clear settling of accounts, two former inmates, belonging to the criminal group The Tepito Unionwere attacked with bullets when they were distributing cocaine staples in the streets of the Peralvillo neighborhood, in the mayor’s office. Cuauhtemoc; one lost his life at the scene and the other was injured.
The events occurred at the intersection of Circuito Interior and Debussy Street, where the lifeless body of Héctor Soto, 60 years old, was left, while his companion, named Elías Muñoz, was treated by the emergency services and transferred to a hospital as a detainee.
Witnesses to the events told the police that two armed individuals traveling aboard a white motorcycle intercepted the drug dealers and shot them at point-blank range, and then fled in an unknown direction.
At the scene, experts from the capital’s Attorney General’s Office located at least ten shell casings fired on the asphalt, proving that it was a direct attack.
The Investigative Police (PDI) analyzes the video surveillance cameras near the place to establish the escape route of the murderers and proceed to search for them.
