Others leaders prosecuted for various crimes are César Duarte in Chihuahua; Jesus Reyna Garcia (Michoacan), Roberto Borge (Quintana Roo), Flavino Rios (Veracruz); Tomás Yarrington and Eugenio Hernández (Tamaulipas), Jorge Torres and Humberto Moreira (Coahuila); Andres Granier (Tabasco); Rodrigo Medina and Jaime Rodríguez Calderón “El Bronco” (Nuevo León).
The latter was governor of Nuevo Leon and was admitted to the municipality of Apodaca, accused of the crimes of diversion of public resources and money laundering during his presidential campaign in 2018.

Other former presidents who have been involved in recent controversies are Francisco Javier García Cabeza de Vaca in Tamaulipas o Silvano Aureolesto whom arrest warrants were issued, the first for organized crime and money laundering, while the second is accused of embezzlement, criminal association and operation with resources of illicit origin. In both cases, the arrests have not been completed so far.
