The vocalist of Los Incomparables de Tijuana was picked up by an armed group and found dead

TIJUANA, BCN. – The group The Incomparables of Tijuana confirmed in a statement the death of its vocalist Eleuterio “Tello” Higuera Jr., who was nephew of Mario Quinteroleader and singer of Los Tucanes de Tijuana.
According to the information provided by the musicians, Tello was picked up by armed individuals on October 24, when Los Incomparables de Tijuana were entertaining a private event in the Aztlán neighborhood, in the municipality of Playas de Rosarito; The other members of the group were tied up, but managed to save their lives.
Days later, the singer’s body was located in the La Gloria neighborhood, south of Tijuana, however, neither his colleagues nor the authorities have reported the causes of his death or further details about the investigation, although everything indicates that it was the work of members of organized crime.
Mario Quintero, The leader of Los Tucanes de Tijuana has not made any comments on the matter either, however, family, friends and followers demanded justice for the death of the young performer.
It has also not been said whether Tello had received previous threats from any criminal group, but it is expected that in the coming days the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Baja California will provide more details regarding the musician’s crime.
