Consider an audit that did not support the expenses of this agency due to the lack of contributions during 2024

Mexico City. – Research done by the Superior Audit of Mexico City (ASCM) indicate that the Secretariat of Comprehensive Risk Management and Citizen Protection (SGIRPC), headed by Myrian Urzúa, made unjustified expenses for the cleaning service of the offices of the capital agency, due to the lack of quotes and documents that would prove an increase in spending on this type of work.

Through the results of the ASCM/33/24 review of the Capital Audit that it delivered in recent months, the supervisory body made the observations that the SGIRPC spent more on cleaning services than it had authorized. In 2024, the Secretariat spent 1 million 716 thousand pesos, although in the concept of public spending investigated, only 1 million 400 thousand pesos had been approved, which in turn represented an increase of 34.4 percent compared to the same cleaning services in 2023, when the expense was 1 million 277 thousand pesos.

After a review of the contracting, evaluation and execution of expenditure procedures, the Audit determined that the allocation of resources did not adjust to the actual work “it had to prove that in the programming and budgeting process of the reviewed item, real valuation elements were weighted to determine its physical and financial goals.” Also, although it is the second government in which Myriam Urzúa works as head of the SGIRPC, the spending review indicated that the service quote did not meet the requirements.

For the cleaning services of the SGIRPC offices, the administration headed by Urzúa Venegas, entrusted these tasks to the company Excelencia en Limpieza Jemny SA de CV, a company that, according to the contracting history, has also provided services to the offices of the national PRI and agencies of the State of Mexico.
